Compensation: $18.00 - 20.00

The High-Level Overview: Working from your home and occasionally on-site at our Client locations in Colorado, our Recruiting Assistant directly supports our client's recruiting needs and supports Recruiting Specialists and Client Partners.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities

  • Assisting the recruitment processes, such as the following: writing compelling job postings, screening and interviewing candidates, administering candidate assessments, ensuring a diverse and qualified pool of finalists, and communicating with hiring managers to coordinate the entire process.
  • Assist with the onboarding processes such as writing offer letters, pulling market data & compensation, conducting background checks and reference checks, and entering in benefits information.
  • Assist with client and/or position kick-off calls, ensuring a strong understanding of the client’s needs. Contribute to developing a recruitment strategy for each position, taking notes and following up on action items.
  • Research the client and industry to identify information that will lead to greater results.
  • Document all critical information in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Create or edit employee job descriptions, processes, policies, procedures, and other employee-related content.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to employee activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.).
  • Participate in training activities, complete training requirements, and deliver content and information to other team members when directed.
  • Assist client in creating content for employee onboarding
  • Provide general HR administrative support.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned .
Experience -  No recruiting experience is necessary – if you are willing to learn, we will train you! Must have or obtain aPHR within 1st year of employment.
Specialized Skills
  • Basic understanding of compliance and record-keeping requirements related to recruitment/selection.
  • Using staffing tools such as applicant tracking software, HRIS systems, electronic job boards, social media, and candidate sourcing applications is preferred.
  • Administrative support experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and assisting a high-performing team.
  • Time management skills and managing and coordinating multiple recruitment activities simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking System(s).
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and reliable.
  • Excellent listening and demonstrated client service skills.
  • Quick to learn company cultures, new approaches, and new technologies.
  • Comfortable working independently in a virtual office; proactive in asking questions and asking for help when needed.
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates is a plus.
  • Proficient skills in Google and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) are required.
  • General computer technical understanding and troubleshooting are helpful.
